British marquee brands Jaguar Land Rover on Friday said it has reached an agreement with its trade unions that will see it invest multi billion pounds towards new models and would continue to operate all its three plants.

The company will significantly increase the number of models in its range and create thousands of jobs over the next decade, Tata Motors-owned JLR said in a statement on Friday. The firm has already begun the process by hiring 1,500 new employees at its Liverpool factory.

“This is a triumph for all concerned,” said Ralf Speth, chief executive, JLR.
