TR Prasad, who was an independent director on the board of the scam-ridden Satyam Computer, has resigned from the board of yet another company Suven Life Sciences.
"TR Prasad, director, has resigned from the board of directors of the company with effect from January 13, 2009," Suven Life said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Earlier this week, Prasad had resigned from the board of GMR Infrastructure, Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), TVS Motor Company and castings firm Nelcast Ltd.
A former Cabinet Secretary, Prasad was one of the independent directors in the disbanded Satyam board and expressed his views on the controversial 1.6 billion-dollar Satyam-Maytas aborted deal.
Yesterday, Prasad had said that he was in Delhi and open to interrogation by investigative agencies.
"As a former Cabinet Secretary to GOI, I am fully conscious of a citizen's duties and responsibilities to cooperate with any investigative agency and comply with all court orders," he added.
