Around 100 people attended a free eye-check up camp at All India Pingalwara Charitable Society (regd), Palsora, on Monday. The camp was organised by Max India Foundation (MIF).

A team comprising Dr Harpreet Kapoor, senior consultant, ophthalmology and Nandini Vohra, optometrist from Max Super Speciality Hospital, SAS Nagar, provided free consultation to patients from Palsora and its adjoining areas. MIF also provided free spectacles to those who were diagnosed with weak eyesight.

Mohini Daljeet Singh, chief executive, MIF,said, "We are committed towards making specialised healthcare services accessible to the less privileged people of the society. Through this free medical camp, we hoped to address many health concerns of the underprivileged people, which were often neglected due to monetary constraints."
