2 IPS officers among 23 transferred in Punjab

The Punjab government on Saturday transferred 23 Punjab police officers, including two IPS officers, with immediate effect.


According to a spokesman, Naveen Singla has been posted as additional deputy commissioner of police (headquarters) at Jalandhar, while Nilambari Jagadale will be new AIG (provisioning) at Punjab Police headquarters, Chandigarh.

The other transferred include Balbir Singh as SP (detective), Faridkot; Joginder as SP (CM security); Daljit Singh as ADCP, Ludhiana; Sarwan Singh as assistant commandant, 7th Battalion, PAP, Jalandhar; Gurmej Singh as assistant commandant, 75th Battalion at PAP, Jalandhar; Jaspal Singh as assistant commandant, 75th Battalion, PAP; Lakhwinderpal Singh as assistant commandant, 7th IRB, Kapurthala; Amrik Singh Pawar as ADCP, Ludhiana; Paramjit Singh as assistant commandant, 3rd IRB, Ludhiana; Rajeshwar Singh as SP (detective), Amritsar, rural; Baljit Singh as ADCP, Amritsar; Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh as SP (detective) at Jalandhar (rural); Dilbag Singh Pannu as assistant commandant 9th Battalion, PAP, Amritsar; Harjit Singh Pannu as SP (headquarters) at Nawanshahr; Navjot Singh Mahal as SP (headquarters) at Barnala; Gurmeet Singh as SP (D) at Fazilka; Satbir Singh as ADCP, Ludhiana; Bahadar Singh as SP (headquarters) at Ludhiana (rural), Harjit Singh Brar as SP (special branch) at Amritsar (rural); Manjit Singh Dhesi as ADCP (crime), Ludhiana and Gurdip Singh as AIG (railway) at Patiala.
