After 20 years of her rape, the accused, who completed ten-year jail term for raping a minor, was harassing her again.
The two-year-old girl, who was raped at Kharar on July 28, 1995 by Tarsem Lal, is now studying in Class 12 in a private college.
On March 4, 2015, victim's father lodged a complaint in which he stated that his daughter was being harassed by the same person again.
He added that his daughter was facing this situation from the past few time and the day she disclosed this to her mother, they were able to identify the person.
He said, "When my daughter used to return from her college, Lal, along with his brother, abused her and also passed lure comments, due to which she always changed her way."
Talking to HT, the victim said she did not understand what her fault was.
It was worth mentioning that even after a week, Kharar station house officer Vijay Kumar had not taken any action.
When contacted, he said the complaint was under investigation and, moreover, the police had called both the parties to police station for the statement.
On the other side, father of the victim said after filing the complaint, no police party had visited to his house to verify the complaint.
The victim's father added that 20 years ago when he lodged the compliant of his daughter's rape, his family asked him to leave the home. "My mother and father told me that they do not need any police visit at their home."
