A 26-year-old scooter-borne man on Tuesday succumbed to injuries suffered on September after he was hit by an unidentified vehicle in Sector 26.

Victim Usmeet, who was working as a clerk with a transport company in Sector 26, was hit in the same sector near the Police Lines and was spotted by some passersby in a pool of blood, said station house officer (SHO) inspector Anokh Singh. He was taken to Government Multi-Specialty Hospital in Sector 16, where he died. The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem examination.
