The Punjab education department will start the second phase of its awareness campaign against mass copying from October 17, according to education minister Dr Daljit Singh Cheema.

The minister will launch the campaign from Jalandhar.

Teachers, principals and students from Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala and Jalandhar districts will take part in the inaugural function of Nakal Virodhi Abhiyan. This campaign was launched from Bathinda in August last year. Under the campaign, essay writing, declamation contest, poem writing, recitation and mini marathon are being organised in each district of Punjab.
