3 held for possession of stolen mobile phones

Police here on Sunday arrested three persons and recovered seven mobile phones allegedly stolen by them.

Police here on Sunday arrested three persons and recovered seven mobile phones allegedly stolen by them.

Ravi, Sompal alias Appa and Vinod, all residents of Ram Darbar, had allegedly struck at a
mobile accessories shop in Ram Darbar last week.

Acting on a tip-off and clues provided by the complainant, police laid a trap near Ram Darbar and managed to arrest the three. All three have a criminal record.

A case of dishonestly receiving stolen items under section 411 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against them at the Sector-31 police station. The accused have been produced in court and remanded in judicial custody.
