3 held in Sirsa for betting on Indo-Pak ODI

Haryana Police has nabbed three persons in Sirsa for betting on one-day cricket match played between India and Pakistan on Sunday.

The police seized Rs 12,000, a television set, five mobile phones and a dairy from their possession. A case has been registered against them at police station in Sirsa.

An official spokesman of police department said that Kirtinagar police station incharge Dalbir Singh received secret information about 'satta' on large scale through mobile phones and television at Grewal Basti near Begu Road.

Those arrested were identified as Sumer of Kirdhan in Fatehabad, Sudhir Kumar of Bhattu Kalan and Anil Kumar of Nathusari Kalan in Sirsa.
