Three people were seriously injured after their motorcycles collided on the national highway-73 in Barwala on Thursday.
Police said Krishan and Jasvir, both residents of Sultanpur village, were going to Barwala, while Jitendar was coming from Barwala when their motorcycles collided near Vishkarma temple.
After the collision, all of them fell on the road and received serious head injuries. Both were rushed to the General Hospital, Sector 6, Panchkula, after passersby informed police about the accident.
Meanwhile, police have impounded both motorcycles and started the investigation. “Both parties knew each other and decided not to register any case. Also, all three are out of danger now,”said assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Om Prakash, Barwala police post in-charge.
Two road mishaps
Two accidents were reported at around 11:30pm from Panchkula on Wednesday night. At Chandimandir Toll Plaza, a person driving an Alto car hit a Wagon R car and fled from the spot. The PCR officials were investigating the incident at the time of filing the copy.
Also at Tank Chowk, outside the gate of the Western Command, two cars collided but no one was hurt.
