5 IAS, 2 IPS officers transferred in Punjab

The Punjab government today transferred five IAS and two IPS officers with immediate effect.

The Punjab government today transferred five IAS and two IPS officers with immediate effect.

Vikas Garg, deputy commissioner, Patiala has been transferred and posted as special secretary, water supply and sanitation, against a vacant post.

GK Singh, deputy commissioner, Roop Nagar has now been posted as deputy commissioner, Patiala.
Mohinder Singh's services have been placed at the disposal of department of agriculture for appointment as secretary, Punjab state agriculture marketing board, Chandigarh.

Dr Abhinav, ADC (D) Bathinda, has been transferred and posted as deputy commissioner, Gurdaspur and Pardeep Agarwal, ADC, Ludhiana has been posted as deputy commissioner Roop Nagar.

Among the IPS officers, Harish Kumar Bansal has been posted as joint director/internal vigilance and special unit, vigilance bureau, Punjab and Dinesh Partap Singh AIG provisioning, CPO, Punjab, Chandigarh has been posted as joint director/admn vigilance bureau, Punjab.
