50 more law officers for AG's office
The Punjab government today appointed 16 additional advocate generals, one advocate on record, three senior deputy advocate generals, 11 deputy advocate generals and 19 assistant advocate generals in the office of the Punjab Advocate General, which already has a strength of 95 advocates.
The Punjab government on Wednesday appointed 16 additional advocate generals, one advocate on record, three senior deputy advocate generals, 11 deputy advocate generals and 19 assistant advocate generals in the office of the Punjab Advocate General, which already has a strength of 95 advocates.
Those appointed as additional advocate generals on contract basis up to February 28, 2013, are: Ajaib Singh, Bal Bahadur Singh Teji, K.D. Sachdeva, Krishan Singh Dadwal, Sunanda Rattan, K.K. Gupta, Suresh Singla, V Ram Swaroop, Deepak Baliyan, Brijeshwar Singh Bhalla, Rajesh Mehta and Tribhuwan Nath Sarup.
Senior deputy advocate generals Yatinder Sharma and Vandana Malhotra have been re-appointed as additional advocate generals, a spokesman said here.
Ranjit Kapoor and Anil Soni of New Delhi have been engaged as additional advocate general in the
office of the Legal Cell, New Delhi, on contract basis, while Vinay Mohan Sharma has been engaged as advocate on record in the same Delhi office of the Punjab AG.
Rakesh Verma, Nand Kishore Verma and Gaurav Mohunta have been engaged as senior deputy advocate generals.
SS Chandumajra, Singh Sidhu, Gazi Mohammad Umair, Gagandeep Singh Khandewad, KS Pannu, PS Bajwa, Ambika Sood, Simsi Dhir Malhotra, Ranbir Singh Pathania, Bhupinder Singh and Sandeep Dodara have been engaged as deputy advocate generals on contract basis up to March 31, 2013.
The assistant advocate generals appointed on contract basis up to February 28, 2013, are: Karan Aulakh, Luvinder Sofat, Jaspreet Singh Sekhon, Rajat Bansal, Jasdeep Singh Bhullar, Neeraj Yadav, Anant Kataria, Daya Krishan, Yogesh Gupta, Smile Dhir, Lokesh Chander Aggarwal, Vishal Garg, Neeraj Sharma, Inqlab Nagpal, Varun Sharma, Shivali, Rajinder Singh Nain, Daljit Singh Virk and Sunil Kumar Vashisht.
