AAP ready to launch 'jhadu yatra'

Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP's) city unit is all set to organise 'Jhadu Yatra' beginning February 15 to march for their fight against corruption in the country.

Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP's) city unit is all set to organise 'Jhadu Yatra' beginning February 15 to march for their fight against corruption in the country.


Party members said the yatra aims at weeding out corruption, chaos, high prices and unemployment. The yatra will begin on Saturday from Sector 15 rehri market at 11am. In the evening, the yatra will start from Sector 22 near Kiran Cinema at around 3pm.

On February 16, members will carry out the drive at Sectors 38, 38 West, Dadumajra and Maloya, and it will be conducted at Dhanas on February 17. On the following day, areas of Sector 26, 19, 20 and Bapu Dham would be covered.

The party aims to cover villages around the city, sectors and colonies during the entire week. The drive will conclude on February 23 at Leisure Valley, Sector 10, and Rose Garden.

Party members are also using this opportunity to gauge active participation of volunteers and increase their numbers in the city.
