UT administrator Shivraj Patil, while interacting with 19 IAS probationers of the 2013 batch who called on him at Punjab Raj Bhawan, advised them to perform their duties to the best of their ability and try to make a difference.
He urged the IAS probationers to administer with a human touch and implement welfare schemes in their true spirit after completing the training. He said they should deal with the people in a humane manner.
Patil also asked the probationers to study the Indian Constitution thoroughly otherwise they might commit mistakes while discharging their duties. He asked them not to take decisions in haste while discharging their duties.
While congratulating the IAS probationers, Patil said that need of the hour was to understand the requirements of the people, and to adopt a sympathetic attitude.
Besides all 19 probationers, M P Singh, principal secretary to administrator, Mohammed Shyian, deputy commissioner, and Kashish Mittal, IAS were present on the occasion.
