The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a new set of guidelines for students appearing for the All-India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT).
Coming out with a series of strict instructions on the dress code, the board has barred the candidates from wearing shoes, rings, bracelets, pendants and even watches while coming for the exam.
The circular issued by CBSE directs the students to “wear light clothes with half sleeves shirts, t-shirts, kurta not having big buttons, brooch or any badge. Wear open slippers and not shoes”.
CBSE has also asked the students to reach the exam centres well in advance for the compulsory ‘frisking’. “The accused behind the last paper’s leak is yet to be caught, such safety measures are a must,”said Arvind Goyal, a city- based tutor.
