Application invited for MET at UIAMS

Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, has invited online applications for Management Entrance Test-2015 (MET) at University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS), PU Campus, Chandigarh. Interested candidates can apply online through up to February 9, 2015.

The entrance test would be conducted on March 14, 2015. UIAMS offers management programmes in sectoral areas and streams so as to fulfill industry needs and requirements for the specialised managerial skills.

The available courses at UIAMS are MBA (retail management), MBA (banking and insurance management), MBA (IT and telecommunication management), MBA (infrastructural management), MBA (pharmaceutical management) and MBA (hospital management).

PU spokesman informed that the last date for submission of information on the website to generate bank challan is February 9. Last date for deposit of fee in any branch of State bank of India using website-generated challan is February 16 up to 4pm.

The last date for submission of fee details (journal number; branch code and date of deposit given by the bank) and uploading of photograph, signature with rest of the information on the website is February 25.

The fee for the entrance test is Rs 1,750 and Rs875 for SC/ST candidate. The centre for entrance test would be Chandigarh and Ludhiana.

PU spokesman informed that the no correction would be entertained, regarding photograph, signature and any other information, after February 27.

The last date for receiving of copy of filled application form printout along with the requisite documents (if any) at UIAMS by registered post/speed post or by hand is March 10 up to 4pm. Online roll numbers would be available on March 4. There will be no physical communication for this purpose, he added.
