Panjab University (PU) has invited applications for admission to MEd (regular) and Med (correspondence) courses in PU and various affiliated colleges, here.
The qualified candidates in the entrance examination can apply online for admissions up to 4 pm of July 24 through the website www.medadmissions.puchd.ac.in.
The hard copy of the application form along with attested copies of relevant documents has to be submitted before July 29, 4 pm.
Candidates interested in the regular Med course should submit these copies at the office of co-ordinator MEd admissions, department of education, room-six, arts block 2, PU campus.
For admission to MEd correspondence, the copies need to be submitted to assistant registrar (admissions), university school of open learning, PU.
Documents to be submitted
The complete set of admission form will include admission form, mark-sheet of qualifying examination (BEd), proof of date of birth or matriculation certificate, certificate for claiming seat against reserved category(if any), certificate supporting the claims for the weightages claimed, admit card of entrance test and downloaded copy of result and teaching experience certificate duly signed and countersigned by competent authorities as mentioned on the format of employment certificate for MEd through correspondence only as per the guidelines displayed on the PU website.
The candidates desirous of seeking admission to both MEd regular and correspondence should send two separate application forms, said a PU spokesperson.
These should be sent in two separate envelopes, specifying the course. The admission will be through centralised face to face counseling and it is mandatory for every candidate to be present at the counseling.
The counseling for both courses will be held separately, dates and venue for which will be notified through the university website.
The candidate will not be allowed to make any changes in the admission form by way of any addition, deletion, alteration, amendment or change under any circumstances. Once, the submitted forms or incomplete forms are received after the prescribed date and time of July 24 (online) and July 29 (hard copy), they will not be entertained under any circumstances.
