An Army jawan was today killed and another injured when militants opened fire on them from point blank range in highway town of Pampore in south Kashmir, police said.
This was the third such shooting incident in south Kashmir during the past five days.
The soldiers were withdrawing money from an ATM at Kadalbal, 16 kms from here, on Srinagar-Jammu national highway when the ultras armed with pistols targetted them around 3.10pm, they said.
