The dharna started by members of the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra Teachers Association (NITKTA) in front of the office of the director entered 15th day on Tuesday.
They are demanding suspension of the NIT security officer pending an inquiry into the matter related to the broad daylight attack on professor SS Rattan on June 18 on the institute campus. Even after more than two weeks no action has been made by the institute administration, they claimed.
Members of NITKTA also raised slogans against the institute administration, particularly against the alleged passive attitude of director Anand Mohan.
Association general secretary Vinod Mittal warned that if no action is taken by the end of the week, they will be intensify the stir from next week.
