B-Town salutes Bhagat Singh, Rajguru on 83rd death anniversary

Celebrities like Anupam Kher, Sudhir Mishra and Madhur Bhandarkar paid respects to the late Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Hari Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar - heroes of India's independence struggle - on their 83rd death anniversary on Sunday.


The martyrs have been portrayed on the big screen several times. Some of the noted films include 'Shaheed-E-Azam' (2002), 'Shaheed' (2002), 'The Legend of Bhagat Singh' (2002) and 'Rang De Basanti' (2006).

Sudhir Mishra: The thing to remember about Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev was that along with the passion, they had an extremely evolved sense of political thought.
