Shiromani Akali Dal sweeps Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Managing Committee elections by winning 36 of the 46 seats. SAD-Delhi won nine seats and one was bagged by Kendriya Singh Sabha.

Meanwhile, Sarna the main opponent of the Badals, was defeated by SAD-Badal candidate Manjinder Singh Sirsa from the Punjabi Bagh ward. While Badal loyalist Manjit Singh GK was declared winner from Greater Kailash ward.
