Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state spokesperson, Ajay Rana on Friday said the party will file a defamation suit against chief minister Virbhadra Singh over his "false and derogatory remarks" agianst the BJP state president Satpal Satti.
Rana said the chief minister had falsely accused Satti's nephew of being involved in illegal mining.
He said Congress party leaders are diverting the ommon people's attention from real issues by playing the blame game.
"Chief minister should have taken governor Urmila Singh’s comments on the worst conditions of state roads and correct that instead of wasting his time in accusing BJP senior leader and former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and party leader Satpal Satti," he said.
“It seems that Virbhadra Singh has taken the state people for granted and thinks that people have voted for Congress party to take revenge on opposition leaders only,” he added.
He added that Virbhadra Singh should stop providing jobs to Congress loyalists by means of backdoor entry "because it is cheating with the deserving youth who have been forced to knock doors of the court for justice."
