Bindra, GoSports join hands to help young shooters

Olympic gold medallist AbhinavBindra today announced a partnership with GoSports Foundation to support young Indian shooters in the country.

Bindra's foundation will work in association with GoSports for the development of this sport and would support deserving shooters. They will together conduct joint programmes to train young shooters.

The joint programmes will include scholarships for selected shooters, development workshops for coaches and shooters, as well as mentorship from Abhinav Bindra.

High quality shooting equipment will be provided free of cost to select shooters.

Bindra, said, "I am excited to partner with the GoSports Foundation as I feel that my ideas for Indian sports resonate well with the work they have done and the programmes they have planned. Through the joint programmes in shooting development, we hope to establish a strong athlete mentorship programme for young shooters, and help these youngsters realise their true potential."
