Family members and supporters of Ravneet Singh Bittu, Congress candidate from Anandpur Sahib parliamentary constituency, began door-to-door campaign in SAS Nagar on Wednesday.
Bittu’s mother Jasbir Kaur, his wife Anupam Kaur along with supporters went to various parts of SAS Nagar. Daljit Kaur, wife of Congress MLA Balbir Singh Sidhu, also accompanied them.
Anupam enlightened voters about the failure of Akali-BJP government on all fronts. They also told people about the poor law and order condition of the state and dilapidation condition of the development not only in the urban areas, but also in the rural areas were the people were totally ignored for all types of civic amenities.
They further told the voters that the ruling party, which was facing acute financial crisis, could never think about the development of the state as they lacked funds even to pay salaries to their staff.
As far as Akali-BJP candidate Prem Singh Chandumajra was concerned, he would face defeat and would not be even able to save his security deposits, they alleged.
