BJP demands arrest of Akalis who attacked Anil Joshi's brother

The Bhartiya Janta Party core group on Thursday demanded suspension of Local SHO, Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Tarn in alleged attack on Punjab cabinet minister Anil Joshi’s brother Raja Joshi.

The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) core group on Thursday demanded suspension of Tarn Taran SHO and Senior Superintendent of Police in alleged attack on Punjab cabinet minister Anil Joshi’s brother Raja Joshi.

The meeting was chaired by state BJP head Kamal Sharma.The Punjab BJP leadership has also demanded arrest of Akalis involved in the attack within 24-hours.

Joshi, had earlier demanding a judicial probe into the alleged attack. The minister on Wednesday also released the footage of five Akali men assaulting his brother and firing at him at the Tarn Taran DC office complex in full public view and police presence. Joshi said those who attacked his brother belonged to Majithia’s team, who led by SAD chief parliamentary secretary Harmeet Singh Sandhu’s men attacked Joshi's brother on Tuesday.
