A delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party, led by its local unit president, Sanjay Tandon, handed over documents pertaining to financial transactions of companies owned by Pawan Kumar Bansal to CBI director Ranjit Sinha.
Tandon claimed that the documents showed the financial scams committed by Bansal during his tenure as a union minister.
On the basis of these documents, Tandon said, companies related to Bansal showed huge amount of loans in the balancesheet from three different companies, but the balancesheets of the three companies in question did not show any loan to Bansal's company.

He said the total assets of Ridhi Industries Pvt Ltd were Rs.1.1 lakh.
Mirage Infra Limited also showed share application money from one Motia Townships Limited. But the same was not mentioned in Motia Townsips balancesheet.
Union ministry of water resources also allowed Motia Township to for dig tubewells in May 2012, when Bansal was in the ministry of water resources.
