The Bhartiya Janata Party announced the launch of the 'One note kamal par vote' campaign in Punjab to garner support for the party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
Addressing a party meeting held here Friday, Punjab BJP president Kamal Sharma said BJP workers would visit over a million and a half houses during the fortnight campaign to expose the UPA government's "maladministration" and highlight the "achievements" by the erstwhile NDA government led by Atal Bihari Vajpayee and those of Modi as chief minister of Gujarat.
He said Modi's Fateh rally held in Jagraon on February 23 had not only boosted the morale of party workers but also that of the masses in the state.
The campaign, according Sharma, will bring a change in the mindset of the people and pull the country out of the mess created by the UPA. He said it would ensure all the 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab are won by the BJP, helping in forming the NDA government under Modi's leadership.
