Seeking immediate discussions on various issues pertaining to government employees, power, water crisis and the deteriorating law and order situation in the state, the Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs staged a walkout within minutes of the beginning of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha session here on Monday.

As the session began and parliamentary affairs minister Randeep Surjewala stood up to speak, BJP leader in the House Anil Vij started demanding a discussion on various issues such as agitating employees and draught-like situation which, he held, required immediate attention.

Vij was joined by BJP MLAs Kavita Jain and Ghanshyam Saraf and INLD MLAs Ashok Arora and Ram Pal Majra, seeking a discussion on similar issues thus creating uproar in the House.

While the INLD MLAs stayed back, the BJP staged the walkout, only to return after a few minutes.
