Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) started 'Narendra Modi for PM campaign' at all road-side tea stalls here on Saturday.
Local unit president Sanjay Tandon started the campaign by hanging a banner at a road-side tea stall in Sector 29.
Addressing the gathering, Tandon said Congress leaders were repeatedly pointing that a 'tea-seller' could not become the Prime Minister (PM) of India. This statement has hurt the self-respect and sentiments of millions of tea-vendors of the country and they together started campaigning for Modi to make him the PM, he added.
District president Shakti Prakash Devshali said there was no dynasty politics in BJP.
