The state BJP will release its first list of candidates for the upcoming elections to the Haryana Assembly on September 6 or 7. This list will have the names of nearly 24 nominees of the party.
This was stated by BJP state spokesperson Vir Kumar Yadav while interacting with reporters here on Wednesday. Panels for all 90 assembly constituencies of Haryana had been prepared, he said, adding that the first list would be released after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s return from Japan.
The BJP leader criticised Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s move of declaring the state drought-hit without conducting a Girdawari. “He wants to derive political mileage by this move,” he claimed.
Yadav said campaigning for the INLD in Haryana would tarnish the image of Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal. At the same time, he maintained that Badal canvassing for INLD would not make much difference.
