Activists of Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha on Monday 'gheraoed' two former interlocutors on their visit to here to get the feedback on Kashmir report submitted to the Union home ministry.
Amid slogans, the BJYM workers led by state president Munish Sharma this morning assembled at Dogra Chowk and 'gheraoed' the vehicles of former interlocutors veteran journalist Dilip Padgaonkar and academician Radha Kumar.
The activists however, also tried to 'manhandle' them but police acted swiftly and dispersed the protestors.
The BJYM activists alleged that the report submitted to the Union home ministry is completely anti-national.
"The report has already been rejected by the Bharatiya Janata Party and many other sections including political, religious and social," Manish Sharma, BJYM state president said.
He said the report contains nothing for the benefits of people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
"We want interlocutors to immediately leave the state," he added.
Padgaonkar and Radha Kumar arrived here on Sunday from Srinagar to meet delegations to get a feedback on Kashmir report and would submit it to the Union home ministry.
