The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will raise issues such as black money and the ongoing language row during the winter session of Parliament, the party said on Monday.
Bhagwant Mann, party’s MP from Sangrur, said the AAP would also raise issues pertaining to Delhi and Punjab. “We have got inputs from the party on what the strategy should be in the winter session. The major issues the party would raise are related to the Union government’s delay in bringing back black money, contrary to what it promised. There is no clarity on the issue and we will seek an explanation,” Mann said.
“There are other major issues, such as the ongoing language row. Another would be the government’s decision to reduce the age limit of those appearing for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam,” he said.
“We will tell the government that the move would prove disastrous for many aspirants, as many in the rural parts of the country come to know about the exams quite late,” Mann added.
The party will also raise the issue of contaminated groundwater and the operation of international flights at the Chandigarh airport.
