Bollywood stars enthrall audience at Government College for Girls

Renowned film personalities were in the city to perform at a special programme 'Ek Baar Ki Baat Hai' organised by Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi at the auditorium of Government College for Girls (GCG) in Sector 42 on Sunday.

Renowned film personalities were in the city to perform at a special programme 'Ek Baar Ki Baat Hai' organised by Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi at the auditorium of Government College for Girls (GCG) in Sector 42 on Sunday.

Known for her memorable roles in film Agnipath, Summer of 2007, TV serials 'Na Aana Is Des Lado' and 'Radha Ki Betiyan', Madhurjeet Sarghi performed in a solo act 'Lambi Ladki' written by author and film director Rajinder Singh Bedi. She also staged 'Apna Khoon' with actor director Rakesh Choudhary. Earlier, Rakesh had opened up the show with the staging of a story 'Mohammad Bhai' authored by Sadat Hasan Manto.

Another remarkable solo acting spell came from film actress Mona Vasu in Ismat Chugtai's story 'Bhabhi'. Mona has acted in a film 'Maazi' as female protagonist, besides TV serials like Milee, Yudh, Radha Ki Betiyan, Parichay, etc.
