CCET employees to hold protest

Employees of the Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), Sector 26, have decided to hold a protest at the Cricket Stadium roundabout, sector 16, on Tuesday. The protest will be held to seek regularisation of their services.

In a meeting held at the college gate on Friday, which also see the coordination committee of the government and Municipal Corporation employees, CCET employees decided to hold a protest between 3 and 5 pm on Tuesday.

CCET union president Vikramjeet Pawar said, "The UT administration has been assuring us of taking steps but no concrete plan has been drawn up so far."

CCET employees have been demanding regularisation of their services for several months now and have held several protests for their demands in the last few months.
