The 10th Chandigarh Golfing Tour will be organised by the Chandigarh Golf Association (CGA) from December 19 to 21.
The opening day of the event will be a practice round, to be played at the Forest Hill Golf Resort, and it will be followed by match days on December 20 and 21 at the Chandigarh Golf Club and the Panchkula Golf Club.
There are as many as 95 entries from 12 countries for the event, with the maximum number of entries coming from the USA and Canada with 30 and 26 players, respectively.
The break-up of enteries for other countries is: Australia (11 players), Bhutan (2), Brazil (1), France (1), Kuwait (3), New Zealand ( 1), Singapore ( 3), Holland (1) and UK (16).
Last year’s champion Amarjit Brara will be looking to defend his title. There are seven players with single figure handicap, and Dalminder Minhas of the USA has the lowest handicap iof 4.6.
The format of play, like last year, will be stroke-play and championship will be decided on the best aggregate scores of the two match days of the game.
The prize distribution ceremony will be held at KC Hotel and SPA on December 21 at 3:30 pm.
