Khan, the director of the Chandigarh-based non-governmental organisation (NGO), was arrested on Saturday night for having "unnatural sex" with his students Station house officer (SHO) of the Sector 11 police station Narendar Patial had told the court during the last hearing that the accused used to show porn movies to children and also click their objectionable pictures. He said more people could be involved in the case. The SHO told the court that Khan was not cooperating in the investigation.
He said that video recordings and pictures of children could have been sent to other persons also and the police were trying to trace the mobile phone used to record the videos. The police are also trying to ascertain the source of income of the NGO.
Following his (Khan's) former partner Kanwarpal's complaint, the police arrested Zulfiqar Khan from his office at Sector 24 on Saturday and was booked under Section 377 (having carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), besides the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO). Kanwarpal also produced pictures that showed Khan indulging in sex with students.
