In controversy after spat with minister, Kurukshtera chief medical officer (CMO) Dr Vandana Bhatia on Saturday called on health minister Anil Vij at his residence here.
Sources have said that she came with her husband, told Vij that she was being victimised and had been courteous to the minister on telephone. Vij is learnt to have told the couple that the matter was with the chief minister and only he could take the final call. He, however, agreed to convey her sentiments to the CM.
After the meeting, the CMO declined to answer the media questions, claiming that she conveyed to the minister what all she had to say. In reply to a question, she said she had not received her transfer orders yet. Social welfare and empowerment minister Krishan Kumar Bedi on January 28 had blamed her of gross misconduct and had demanded her transfer after the content of their telephone conversation had gone viral on the social media.
