The CII Thailand Trade Show attracted huge crowd, especially women, in Sector 28 on Saturday.
People started coming in the morning at Himachal Bhawan and took rounds of all the stalls.
The trade show is being organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government, Thailand.
The evening was jam-packed as people kept pouring in. Though the food and fruit stalls were popular ones, the free massage demonstration was a major highlight of the show.
Alta Asuro Asia has come up with a collection of diamond, ruby, zercon, emerald and many other gemstones. Ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 20 lakh (depending on the number of gemstones in necklace), this stall offers a variety of designs.
“We have come up with a select range of jewellery sets and accessories as we do not take retail orders. But we were surprised to see the kind of demand these exclusive pieces have among tri-city jewellery lovers,” Kamoalthip Wisuttikulpanich, manager, Alta Asuro Asia.
“If you think that Thailand is all about Bangkok and Phuket, you are mistaken,” said Deepak Arora, information officer, Tourism Authority of Thailand.
“If you really want to experience Thailand like never before then you must give a try to the unexplored destinations like Hua Hin, Kanchanaburi, Ko Samui, Krabi, KO Tao and many more. It is particularly through the platform of CII Thailand Trade Show that we are able to showcase the hidden beauty of Thailand to travel lovers,” he added
