City dentist gets national award

Professor Sarabjeet Singh, a city-based orthodontist, has been conferred the prestigious National Dental Excellence Award 2014 for his contribution in the field of dentistry. He was honoured at an event held in New Delhi on Sunday.

Padmashree RK Bali, former president of Dental Council of India, and OP Kharbanda, professor and head of center for dental education and research, All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), were also present at the occasion.

Singh, through his untiring efforts, has been rendering efficient and quality dental care to the public for more than a decade and a half after post-graduating from the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. At present, he runs a dental clinic in Sector 35.
