City’s crime graph rises, seven motor thefts reported in 2 days

 Two burglary cases and seven motor vehicle thefts have been reported to the Chandigarh Police in the last two days.
Shakti Kohli, a resident of Sector 8-C, in his complaint to the police said that some unidentified persons had stolen Rs. 16,000 and gold jewellery from his house on Saturday.

In a separate incident, Mohinder Kumar, a resident of Sector 41-B, reported that some unidentified persons had stolen jewellery and Rs.5000 from his house on Saturday.

Chandan Kumar of Dhanas village in his complaint said his auto rickshaw (PB-65X-5415 (T)) was stolen on the dividing road towards Sector 22, while Narinder Kumar, working in Sector 17, alleged that some unidentified men had stolen his Platina (CH-04E-8925) from the backside of Sector 17 market. Ashwani of Sector 29-B reported that his motorcycle (CH-03-S-2407) was stolen from outside his house on Saturday.

In a similar incident, Devender Sharma, a resident of Sector 30-B, complained that his Pulsar (HP-12D-2257) was stolen from the Sector 30-C market area, while Shivinder Sharma of Sector 41-D, in his complaint , said that someone had stolen his Bullet (CH-03V-8928) from Phase1, Industrial Area. Parvez Khan of Sector 30-B reported that his motorcycle (PB-65K-8062) was stolen from outside his house on Saturday.

Deepak Bajaj of Sector 30-B alleged that someone had stolen four wheels and alloys of his Verna (CH-01-AW-1741) parked near his house on Sunday night. The police have registered separate cases of theft under various sections of the Indian Penal Code in all the incidents.
