It includes his maiden Nationals and National Series titles that came in Mumbai and Kolkata, respectively, last year. Apart from his own age-group category, Bajwa has won top honours in the under-18 section, and participated in Inter national Tennis Federation (ITF) junior tournaments as well.
“Besides giving rankings points, these tournaments have helped me overcome the anxiety of facing tall and sturdy overseas players. The experience will stand me in good stead in the Junior Davis Cup,” added Bajwa, who currently holds second place in the under-16 boys’ national ranking chart.
