Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal will inaugurate the Common Service Centre (CSC) at Sector 15, Panchkula, on May 2.
Residents can avail of a total of 22 services, including caste certificate, income, residence certificate, birth certificate and death certificate at the centre.
While giving information, deputy commissioner Vivek Atray said these features were previously available at tehsil level and now would be available at CSCs. "There will be no physical movement of files. All documents will be received as a scanned copy by the department concerned," said DC.
He said the chief minister would also inaugurate the bio-metric attendance system at mini-secretariat. The system will help record attendance of government officers and employees. He will also inaugurate Aadhaar-based Digital Life Certificate, e-Stamping and CM Window Mobile App.
