CM: Providing educational infrastructure govt’s priority

Chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda inaugurated a building of Institute of Environmental Studies and Zoology Department at Kurukshetra University, besides a building of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Boys Hostel on Monday. These buildings have been constructed at an estimated cost of `1,369 lakh.

In his address, Hooda highlighted the measures taken by the government in providing quality infrastructure for educational institutes in Haryana. The government has accorded top priority for educational infrastructure in every corner of the state, he said, adding that value-based education is the need of the hour and students should use all the facilities provided to them to be skilled professionals and good human beings.

Vice-chancellor Lt Gen DDS Sandhu appreciated the efforts initiated by government in providing quality education and infrastructure and also appealed to the teachers to transform this university into a research centre.
