National spokesperson of the BJP, Capt Abhimanyu, on Friday asked the Congress government in Haryana to come clean on the alleged dubious land deals.

Speaking to journalists, the BJP leader said that the state government should issue a white paper on all the land acquisitions, releases from acquisition proceedings and allotments etc done during its rule. “Otherwise the BJP on coming to power in Haryana will constitute a high level Commission of Inquiry to investigate these issues,” he said.

Asking chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda to quit on moral grounds, Capt Abhimanyu said that Hooda was now being accused by his own party leaders on various issues. "The Congress is soon going to get into a minority in the assembly. Some of the MLAs who were supporting the government are in touch with the BJP. They can revolt against the government," the BJP leader said.

When asked whether the BJP would project anyone as its chief ministerial candidate in the assembly polls, Abhimanyu said this would be decided by the party high command.

On BJP’s shaky alliance with Kuldeep Bishnoi’s Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC), the BJP spokesperson said that the tie-up was passing through a difficult phase. “We don’t want to break the alliance.

But the HJC should also understand that in the changed political scenario any previous arrangement (allocation of 45 seats to each ally in assembly polls) cannot be implemented.”
