Buoyed by the seven Lok Sabha seats won recently and hoping to ride the Modi wave again, the BJP has uploaded the photographs of badminton champion Saina Nehwal, ace shooter Gagan Narang, and world-beating wrestlers Sushil Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt on its Facebook account, beside the images of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and state party president Ram Bilas Sharma. It has received more than 35,000 likes, so far.

The videos on the Congress Facebook account also feature Yogeshwar Dutt and Sushil Kumar.

In the clips, athletes are giving credit to chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda for the generous official awards to sports achievers in Haryana.

They are also praising his parliamentarian son, Deepender Singh Hooda.

The videos have gone viral on the social networking website and brought huge traffic to the party account.

On August, the Congress government in the state had given Rs 1 crore, Rs 50 lakh, and Rs 25 lakh, respectively, to the gold, silver, and bronze medal winners from Commonwealth Games at Glasgow in Scotland.
