Opposition Congress today tried to create ruckus in Himachal Pradesh assembly by making a futile bid to raise the issue of corruption and target the health Minister Dr Rajiv Bindal.

Leader of the opposition Vidya Stokes wanted to know the fate of the notice of adjournment motion immediately after the obituary reference to mourn the death of former MLA Ishwar Chand who represented Jwalmukhi constituency for one term.

The speaker Tulsi Ram rejected the motion saying that it was received too late and could not be taken up. Congress members were on their toes raising slogans.

The Speaker adjourned the House for the day and the matter could not be raised.
