Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda told mediapersons that the Congress was "in a strong position" and would win all 10 Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming elections.

Hooda said the poll survey results during the Lok Sabha elections in 2004 and 2009 were similar to those being cited currently, but the Congress had formed the government on both occasions.

While ridiculing the statements being made by the leaders of opposition parties on the pre-poll surveys, Hooda said everyone had a right to dream, and termed them 'Mungerilal ke haseen sapne' (Mungerilal's beautiful dreams; he was a comic charater in a popular television show).

On the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Hooda claimed that the 'aam aadmi' (common man) was with the Congress, while "kuchh khaas aadmi" (few special people) were in that party.

When asked to comment on the meeting which he has scheduled with Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, he said his counterpart had sought time from him for a meeting to discuss inter-state issues. He said though he had waited for Kejriwal, he had only received a message that the Delhi CM would not be able to attend the meeting.

"Kejriwal is the chief minister of a neighboring state, and I will always be ready to discuss inter-state issues with him," he added.
