Known for their hospitality in the city, CITCO adds another feather to its cap by launching a 24-hour coffee shop and multi-cuisine restaurant at Hotel ShivalikView, Sector 17, on Monday.

With the décor depicting hints of modern art and a glass designed wall that changes colours, Le Café Lounge (coffee shop), promises to provide a wholesome experience in terms of food as well as environment. The coffee shop gradually blends into the restaurant-cum-bar — Bazm — that offers a buffet for R450 (a variety of salads, main course and desserts).

About the coffee shop, the head chef of the hotel, chef Vineet Chopra says, “It’s a new concept for food lovers, as it’s not just a café or lounge; it’s basically a hygienic night food street that will provide foodies with dal, sabzi, roti, as well as continental and south Indian.”

“We also offer a separate menu for kids, which comprises of mini pizzas and burgers,” he adds.

Anurag Walia, GM, Hotel Shivalik View, says, “We would cater to only those who believe in a disciplined night life. Besides, our restaurant is also very pocket friendly, where one can have a good meal for R350 in a warm and cordial sitting.”

Some of the names on the menu that catch your attention are desi boy sandwich, poor man sandwich (multigrain sandwich), clone sandwich (chequered grilled vegetable sandwich), angoori murg tikka (marinated in red wine and grape juice), coconut and pineapple cold soup and pindi chana wraps.
