CU to hold ME (Hons) entrance exam on July 28

Chandigarh University, Gharuan, has re-scheduled its entrance examination to Masters of Engineering (Hons) programme, which was to be held on the university campus in seven schedules as announced by the university.

The All India examination for admission to ME (Hons) would now be conducted on July 28.
Dr RS Bawa, vice-chancellor, Chandigarh University, said: “The decision has been taken in the interest of applicants as most of the universities have not declared the final semester results of BE and B Tech courses yet, which forms the basic qualification to appear for the entrance examination.”

“We have received an overwhelming response to the admissions of unique initiative undertaken by CU, Gharuan, in which a total of 72 students would be selected for ME (Hons) degree in the field of mechanical, computer science, electronics and communication and electrical engineering, which will be completely sponsored by Chandigarh University and the selected candidate don't have bear any educational expenses during the tenure of the programme,” Dr Bawa added.
