A delegation of Co-Ordination Committee of Government and MC Employees met the UT adviser KK Sharma and submitted a memorandum about their long-pending demands here on Tuesday.
The delegation demanded regularisation of daily wage and work charge employees, secured policy for contractual employees and central pay scales and conditions of service for UT employees.
The daily wage employees have been pressing for regularisation for the past 30 years. The delegation urged the adviser for immediate adoption of effective measures to overcome the grievances of the daily wage and work charge employees.
They also requested the adviser that the case of central pay scales and condition of services also be recommend to the central government for approval in the favour of UT employees.
The adviser assured to solve the problems as early as possible. He also informed the delegation that the issue of increase in recruitment age has already been submitted to the government of India for approval and the case of regularisation of daily wage employees is also on its last stage.
